Before taking your vehicle in for repairs or service, do your homework so you receive the best possible service.
- Read the owner's manual to learn about the vehicle's systems and components.
- Follow the recommended service schedules.
- Keep a log of all repairs and service.
- Do not ignore any warning signals your car may give you.
- Carry a written list of the symptoms that you can give your mechanic.
- Resist the temptation to suggest a specific course of repair. Allow our experienced technicians to diagnose and recommend a remedy.
- It's important to note when the problem occurs. Is it constant or periodic? Does it occur when the vehicle is cold or after the engine has warmed up? Does it happen at all speeds? Only under acceleration? During braking? When shifting?

I brought my car to Pro Tech at the recommendation of my now retired former mechanic. It is stressful going to a new place for the first time, not knowing if you will be in good, trustworthy hands, but the owner John immediately put my mind at ease. I watched customers come in and out on my drop-off and pick-up visits and noticed that he remembered each of their names and their issue, even with dozens of cars in queue. Genuine and honest, I can't say enough about how disarming my encounter was. It was good to leave my vehicle in their hands. I got it back at a fair rate, with everything taken care of that needed to be. They checked through everything and made sure I was fully aware of anything that may be an issue now or in the future and took care of it all for me.
